WordPress Website Maintenance

WordPress Website Maintenance

At psyborg® we offer website maintenance. Website maintenance can be a tedious job that can take time and doesn’t always go smoothly.

At psyborg® we can maintain and manage updates on websites created with WordPress for a one off annual fee.

WordPress gets updates every couple of months which includes bug fixes, new features, feature improvements and security patches. As with all computer software, it is very important to keep the version of wordpress up to date.

3rd party plugins are also updated depending on the particular plugin developer but these are usually updated when WordPress does an update also to ensure compatibility. Good plugin developers will check there plugins with WordPress compatibility and update there plugin code to ensure it.

Plugin updates can also occur when plugin developers improve the plugins functionality. This is why it is necessary to keep your plugins up to date, as plugin inconsistencies can break the site as WordPress evolves.

Theme developers will also update their themes to introduce new functionality, bug fixes and to evolve with the most recent version of WordPress. When installing a theme, we use best practice by setting up what is known as a child theme, with any customisations made here so you can continue to update WordPress, any plugins and the core theme files without it effecting any previous customisations done.

At psyborg® we can take the hassle out of all of this and ensure WordPress, plugins and themes are kept up to date. We will not only keep your website up to date but if any updates we install cause a bug or issue with your website, we will be able to troubleshoot and fix the problem for you.

All this means less stress for you and more time to spend on your business.

Chief Projects LogoI was impressed by their responsiveness of both the turnaround time and their innovative ideas to help build our brand. Stephen Mizzi, Owner
