About this project

Hello Sunshine Support Services came to psyborg® needing a warm, professional identity and a simple website to support the launch of a new NDIS support coordination business.

The challenge was clear from the beginning. The name “Hello Sunshine” carried a positive and memorable feeling, but the visual territory was heavily saturated. Many existing logo concepts use the same predictable metaphors … suns, rays, script lettering and bright yellow marks. Our task was to create an identity that still felt sunny and approachable while giving the business a more distinctive brand presence.

The selected direction, focused on a custom wordmark rather than a literal sun icon. The lettering was hand-drawn, rounded and expressive, with the words stacked to form a subtle upward smile. This gave the logo warmth and personality without becoming childish or overly illustrative. The soft typography helped communicate friendliness, care and optimism … qualities that matter deeply in NDIS support services, where participants and families are often looking for clarity, trust and reassurance.

The visual metaphor sits in the shape of the mark itself. Rather than showing sunshine, the logo aims to feel like sunshine. The upward curve suggests positivity and emotional lift, while the organic letterforms create a sense of human connection. It supports the idea of being guided through the NDIS with kindness, calm and practical help.

This brand direction was then extended into a simple website landing page. The site needed to explain Leanne’s role as Coordinator of Supports, present Hello Sunshine clearly and provide an easy path for enquiries. NDIS support coordinators help participants use their plans effectively, understand their supports and connect with providers, so the website language needed to feel simple, useful and reassuring.

The copy centred around the phrase “A brighter way to understand your NDIS plan”, connecting the brand idea directly to the service offer. The layout was designed to be clear and accessible, with simple sections explaining who Hello Sunshine supports, how support coordination works and how to contact Leanne. The project materials also carried through key contact details including Leanne Osborn, Coordinator of Supports, her email, phone number and NDIS Provider Number.

Colour played an important role in the system. The sunshine yellow, specified as HEX F8B31C, gives the brand energy, warmth and visibility. The supporting purple, HEX 6E0F6C, adds care, contrast and memorability.

The final result is a bright, friendly and flexible identity supported by a simple digital presence. Hello Sunshine now has a brand that feels personal, positive and practical … designed to help participants feel more confident as they take their next step.
