Jacob’s Week at psyborg® and Why It Matters
Sometimes the impact of a program is best seen through one person.
Jacob spent a week with us at psyborg® as part of the Swansea High School Work Experience program. What started as a simple placement quickly became something more meaningful…for him and for us.
Over the week, Jacob was exposed to real creative workflows. Not simulations. Not classroom exercises. Real projects, real deadlines, real conversations. He saw how ideas move from concept to execution, how technology supports creativity, and how people collaborate under pressure. More importantly, he showed up curious, engaged, and willing to learn…which is exactly what work experience should unlock.
This is why Work Experience Connect exists.
As outlined in our recent article, the program delivered tangible outcomes for Swansea High students, with apprenticeships, part-time roles, and future opportunities already flowing. Jacob’s week at psyborg® is one small example within a much bigger picture…young people gaining clarity, confidence, and direction at a critical stage of life.

psyborg® was founded by Daniel Borg, an Honours Graduate in Design from the University of Newcastle, NSW, Australia. Daniel also has an Associate Diploma in Industrial Engineering and has experience from within the Engineering & Advertising Industries.
