Neave Shines at Nationals
We were in Ballarat this week, proudly cheering on Neave as she represents New South Wales at the National Championships. Competing in four events, her journey to this stage is a testament to her incredible discipline, dedication, and countless hours of hard work in and out of the pool.
Now, it’s time for her to soak in every moment of this amazing experience — and what a start she’s had!
Day 1 at Nationals was nothing short of spectacular. Neave stormed to victory, bringing home two gold medals — one in the 100m Backstroke and another as part of the 50m IM Relay team. In her own words, “all of her dreams have come true.”
And the golden streak didn’t stop there! Neave has now claimed another incredible title — Gold in the 50m Backstroke, making her the 10-Year Australian Champion in the event, and silver in the 50m Freestyle Relay. Beyond proud doesn’t even begin to describe it!
