How we helped build Swansea Skate Park some 30 years ago!
Throwback to the grind before there was any concrete.
We went door to door with a petition. Met with local member Jill Hall MLA. Sketched concepts and shared layouts to show what the park could be.
Huge nod to Craig Clark who helped lead the crew and kept the momentum strong.
We organised. We rallied. We kept showing up.
The local paper even covered it … young skaters pushing for a proper place to ride. That pressure turned into planning, then funding, then a park the next generation could call home.
Takeaway: Don’t wait for permission. Start. Action creates change.
