Check out this animation we just completed for Newcastle Software Developer, Drawing Managers.
Their software product, theDMSeffect is a solution for engineering, trades and design firms who manage and need access to a vast array of engineering drawings and documentation.
We worked closely with Drawing Managers to write the script, storyboard & animate the video.
Software product explainer animations communicate complex technical functionality through visual storytelling. Engineering document management systems address genuine workflow challenges but struggle communicating value proposition through text alone. Animation demonstrates software interface interaction, document retrieval speed and collaborative workflow improvements impossible to convey through static screenshots.
Script development collaboration ensures technical accuracy whilst maintaining accessibility. Software developers understand feature functionality but struggle articulating customer-facing value propositions. Collaborative scriptwriting bridges technical detail with business outcome communication supporting sales conversations and website conversion objectives.
Storyboarding establishes visual narrative flow before animation production begins. Frame-by-frame planning prevents expensive mid-production revisions ensuring animation supports strategic messaging hierarchy. Engineering sector animation requires balancing professional credibility with engaging visual style avoiding both excessive complexity and patronising oversimplification.
