Full-Circle Curiosity: AI Masterclass in Wagga Wagga

Full-Circle Curiosity:

AI Masterclass in Wagga Wagga

What a day in Wagga! An amazing, welcoming crowd and a full-circle moment for me — back to teaching where curiosity meets innovation.

Full-Circle Curiosity

On 30 October 2025, psyborg® delivered an AI Masterclass for Wagga Wagga City Council as part of Small Business Month, welcoming a diverse group of local business owners, educators and innovators ready to explore what AI can do in real life.

The session was hands-on, real and human. We explored AI through practical, non-technical examples that sparked great questions and even better conversations. Participants learned how to craft prompts, generate brand-consistent content, and use multimodal tools to bridge creativity and logic … the essence of part mind | part machine.

Several attendees took things further by completing their own AI Brand Codex — a psyborg® framework that helps businesses define their brand voice for AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Microsoft Copilot. Each Codex was later customised and sent back, empowering local businesses to guide AI in their unique tone and purpose.

The energy in the room was genuine. People commented on my “enthusiastic and engaging style” — and that’s exactly what it’s about: making complex ideas simple, interactive and fun.

Full-Circle Human Moments

Full-circle human moments hit different when life connects the dots for you.

Thirty years ago, I was a Uni student working at the University of Newcastle Internet Café, CyberCycle — back when the web was new and curiosity was currency. My boss, Paul Harrison, was from Wagga. He pushed me to teach others tools like Flash, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop — lessons that eventually led to teaching, founding psyborg®, and helping businesses grow through technology.

So, returning to Paul’s hometown to teach again — this time about AI and the next evolution of digital tools — felt right. The thread is the same: curiosity, courage, and the discipline to keep showing up.

AI in Action

Throughout the workshop, participants used multiple AI platforms, comparing outputs and exploring real applications in marketing, communication and content creation. Together, we tackled three interactive tasks:

  • Brand Voice: Defining tone and identity through prompting.
  • Multimodal AI: Combining different files and images for clarity and effective outputs.
  • Image Generation: Creating visual concepts with brand alignment.

These activities showed that AI isn’t about replacing people — it’s about amplifying the human edge through better tools, sharper thinking and more time for creativity.

Thank You, Wagga Wagga

Thanks to everyone who joined and made it such an energising experience. Special thanks to Wagga Wagga City Council for supporting the business community and backing innovation with action.

Workshops like this remind me that technology is only as powerful as the people who use it — and in Wagga, that power was everywhere.

part mind. part machine.
