A Uni Catch-Up That Came Full Circle
Some conversations remind you how far you’ve come … and how consistent you’ve stayed.
Catching up with Richard Davy … my old uni classmate and fellow designer … was one of those moments. Two people who started at the same place, took completely different paths and arrived somewhere that, in retrospect, makes complete sense for both of them.
We bonded over assignments about running a design studio. I’m doing exactly that. Richard’s now at Adobe in the US … so yes, we’ve officially got a man on the inside.
Design has a way of doing that. The foundations stay the same. The curiosity. The problem-solving. The instinct to make things better, clearer, more meaningful. But the application evolves … shaped by experience, by clients, by the times.
Richard. Good to see you. Here’s to the next thirty years.
