Website Design for 3P Surfboards
New website we have designed for 3P Surfboards.
Born from the beaches of Merewether Surf Culture in Australia back in 2001, 3P™ Surfboards is the creation of former professional surfer Paul Parkes.
Surf industry websites require balancing lifestyle aesthetics with technical product communication. Surfers evaluate board design through performance specifications—dimensions, rocker curves, fin configurations. Website must communicate craftsmanship credibility whilst maintaining coastal cultural authenticity preventing corporate sterility undermining brand positioning.
Former professional surfer credentials establish product authority impossible for commercial manufacturers lacking competitive surfing pedigree. Paul Parkes’ professional background validates design expertise. Website leverages this authority through strategic storytelling connecting Merewether beach origins with custom shaping knowledge developed through years riding elite-level competitive waves.
Merewether location signals Newcastle surf culture authenticity. Local shapers benefit from regional reputation built over decades servicing dedicated surfing community. Website design reflects coastal environment through visual language avoiding generic tropical imagery favouring authentic Newcastle coastal character reinforcing genuine local heritage positioning.
