Our kids are lucky to have such committed and engaged fathers.
Grassroots sport runs on parent volunteer effort. Committee roles, coaching, ground maintenance, fundraising, uniform coordination—unpaid labour that makes junior sport possible. Mike pressing team shirts represents that broader ecosystem.
The collaboration model works well here. Professional design ensures the shirts look legitimate—kids notice when their team gear looks amateur compared to other clubs. Parent production keeps costs manageable for volunteer-run organisations operating on registration fees and canteen profits.
Studio access matters. Heat press equipment, production space, technical guidance—resources most parents don’t have at home. Opening the studio for community sports production creates practical value beyond design service.
Junior sport teaches kids about teamwork, discipline, resilience. Parent involvement teaches different lessons—seeing adults contribute time and effort to community infrastructure, watching problems get solved through collaboration, understanding that good things require someone doing the work.
The Bullsharks get professional-quality team gear. Mike gets hands-on production experience. The studio contributes to local sport infrastructure. Kids benefit from engaged parents who show up.
